Automatic Leak Compensation

With its advanced leakage compensation system, the Evita V500 was designed to deal with leakage quickly and efficiently. While constantly monitoring in the background, it is able to automatically identify and resolve any issues concerning leakage by adjusting its inspiratory trigger and termination points.

Variable Pressure Support

The Evita 500 offers variable pressure support which means that the pressure support is randomised in order to more accurately reflect the variations of a regular respiratory system. By imitating these variations, the patient’s respiratory system recognises the familiar pattern which further simulates the normal respiratory process, encouraging the patient’s recovery.

SmartCare/PS

The weaning process is maximally optimised with the SmartCare/PS software. Designed as an automated software that is built upon a foundation of the weaning protocol, SmartCare/PS will considerably reduce the ICU length stay, the overall ventilation duration, and weaning duration. Help your patients recover more rapidly with the Evita V500.

Fully Certified ICU Ventilators

Our Evita V500 ventilators are in total compliance with IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 60601-1-8, IEC 62304, and ISO 80601-2-12. Having met all the necessary requirements set by the Medical Device Directive (Directive 93/42/EEC), they are also fully CE-certified.

Three Power Supply Systems

The Evita V500 can rely on electrical power supply to operate with the use of its PS500 unit, but it also offers you other alternatives. It can operate via GS500, a turbine-based power supply unit, or it can operate by using gas from its transport supply unit (TSU). While not relying on the PS500, the Evita V500 can fully function for up to four hours, allowing you to treat your patient even in the case of a power outage.
